Rick Goodwin Memorial Dice

The late Rick Goodwin took me into the Master's Program at Pratt, encouraged and supported me through my early design education before he suddenly and tragically passed away in my second year of the program. This toy was designed as a memorial gift and raffled off during the "Come out and Play" event in tribute to the late toy designer and graduate councilor. The dice were based on the graduate curriculum in Industrial Design at Pratt - six semesters and twenty elective studio courses. All funds accumulated in the raffle went towards Pratt's first graduate industrial design scholarship.
