The Endless Band Graphics

Through the use of line drawings, color and imagery, I designed CD cover art for the Asian band The Endless based on imagery commonly found in Japanese pop culture. The layout is based on vintage Japanese department store catalogues and the background graphics are from traditional chiyogami paper. The blend of the modern graphics and traditional references was intentional and characteristic of the band's sound. The catalogued items are all objects used by the band during performances. Two promotional posters were also created for a show in Edmonton in the historic Starlite Room. They are based on a triadic hierarchy of type and imagery to create important focal points, while the logo is a Japanese seal to reflect the band's origins.
