Sasshi

Sasshi is a distinctive bath mat composed of discarded toothbrushes. This contemporary design makes use of every part of the toothbrush while providing durability and ease of care. Four hundred and fifty individual toothbrushes compose the slat pattern top and base, while a rubber frame hold it securely in position.

Sasshi was a finalist in the TerraCycle Industrial Waste Competition and exhibited in Sustainable NYC in June 2009.
