Sway

The Sway is a table lamp inspired by the waves and currents of the sea. Intricately composed of two separate urethane chambers, it constantly rocks back and forth until it finds its center of gravity. This unique design feature allows the customer to tilt and position the lamp in various arrangements. The Sway emits a soothing warm light when turned on, highlighting the effects of moving light that will surely be the center of attention.

The Sway was produced for the George Kovacs Student Lighting Design Competition in 2008 and won the award for honorable mention as designated by the Kovacs-Wesner Design Group and Metropolitian Lighting Fixtures Company.
